A Great Day with DinoMights

HTG helps nearly 50 Minneapolis first-graders learn to skate through DinoMights youth program

This Tuesday, HTG’s Kyle Pederson and Cal Wigestrand volunteered with DinoMights to help teach nearly 50 Minneapolis first-graders how to skate at Richfield Ice Arena.

With hockey as an incentive, DinoMights helps urban youth grow and develop into confident and competent young adults through academic tutoring, mentoring, community service, physical activities, and social engagement.

Over the last five years, 100% of DinoMights have graduated high school on time, many of whom will continue their love of hockey for life.

“DinoMights is doing incredible work in the community, and we were thrilled to see the kids’ excitement as they stepped onto the ice,” said Kyle Pederson, Managing Principal at HTG. “I know how much of an impact youth hockey had on me growing up in Minnesota. To help DinoMights provide these opportunities to more kids aligns perfectly with our values at HTG.”
